The Green Batik Crab is a communal, semi-terrestrial crab with striking markings. This species is an omnivorous scavenger but on occasion an opportunistic hunter. It reportedly prefers animal matter over plant matter. It spends most of its time on land, but also often submerged in freshwater and saltwater. It molts on land and it is communal with its own species, though males will sometimes fight in the confines of a smaller enclosure.
